Your call will be answered by a Registered Nurse with specialized training in nursing/medical telephone advice. The RN follows a standardized procedure and protocol based on the nature of your illness.
| The nurse triage telephone services are available Monday through Friday,
after 5 PM and before 8 am, and 24 hours a day on weekends and holidays during the academic school year (August 16th to June 15th) This service is only available to registered SCU students. |
Please Note: The Cowell Health Center works with a health management company named Intellicare to provide after hours clinical nurse triage telephone service through the company's Care Service Center based in Portland, Maine.
