    YouLead is an online application process for several leadership positions on campus including Orientation Leaders, Community Facilitators, and other Residence Life and Housing positions.

  • iconCSL-Sponsored Leadership Positions

    The Center for Student Leadership (CSL) oversees the selection of Orientation Leaders (OLs). The primary role of an OL is to provide guidance and facilitate Summer Orientation activities. The OL position requires a great deal of dedication and hard work. OLs will be required to attend an extensive training program to get them ready for orientation in July. It is mandatory for OLs to attend all training activities and to work orientations in July and September. OLs will also be required to work Welcome Weekend in September. All employment and training dates are listed below:

    Employment: April 2-July 31, September 15-21
    Spring Training: Wednesdays during Spring Quarter, 4:00pm-6:00pm *
    Summer Training: June 16-27
    Orientation, Sessions 1-6: July 6-25
    Fall Training: September 15-16
    Orientation, Session 7: September 17-18
    Transfer Orientation: September 19
    Welcome Weekend: September 20-21

    * Spring training is required. If selected to be an OL, please plan your spring class schedule accordingly.
