CSO Training & Workshops
-
What are CSO Training & Workshops?
CSL has designed a program that consists of a three-day retreat and a series of monthly meetings to assist the leaders of the Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs) in exploring their leadership aptitudes and abilities.
-
Who Should Participate?
The primary leaders of each CSO. Please consult your CSL advisor as the number of leaders for each CSO varies.
-
What Will You Learn?
CSO leaders will gain basic leadership skills such as event planning, risk management, professionalism, communication, collaboration, budget and finances, supervision, conflict resolution, stress management, and identity development. Also, CSO leaders will begin to feel connected to one another and develop a shared identity as CSO leaders. And they will begin to integrate Jesuit/Catholic principles and practices into their personal leadership styles and their organizations.
-
How Will You Learn It?
Learning will occur through hands-on experiences and through facilitated trainings that deal with the aforementioned topics.
