Bon Appetit

Many events planned by student organizations serve food from as simple as refreshments to as extravagant as a full-service dinner. Food service in all buildings and at all outdoor areas is exclusively granted to Bon Appetit, which is the official dining services provider for Santa Clara.

When ordering food from Bon Appetit, student organizations must have a completed Food Service Approval Form that includes the signature of the ASG Financial Vice President.

Placing a Catering Order with Bon Appetit

Whenever a Chartered Student Organization (CSO) needs to place a catering order from Bon Appetit, Cheryl Hartzheim (Director of Catering) should be contacted.

And whenever a Registered Student Organization (RSO) needs to place a catering order from Bon Appetit, the following form needs to be completed and signed by the ASG Financial Vice President before submitting to Bon Appetit:

Forms for Exceptions for Using Bon Appetit

There are several exceptions that exist where a student organization may not be required to use Bon Appetit for food service. If your event meets one of the exceptions, then complete one of the following forms that matches the exception.

• External Catering Event Form
• Request of Cultural Program Food Service Event

Forms for Events Serving Alcohol

The only undergraduate student organizations that are allowed to have events where alcohol is served is the senior class committee and the junior class committee (spring quarter only) within the Associated Student Government (ASG). For such events, the following form must be completed:
