Fireside Chats
The Fireside Chats is a weekly discussion group for students interested in discussion fundamental normative questions relating to government and public policy.  The group meets every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm - 8:00pm** (Subject to Change) in room 246 of the Arts & Sciences Building.  The name was chosen by participating students and is taken from the term used by the press for Franklin Roosevelt's informal radio addresses to the American people during the Great Depression.

Global Medical Brigades participates in fundraising each year to buy medicine that we bring down for people in Honduras/Panama.  We arrange for licensed practitioners to travel with us to diagnose and prescribe medicine to patients.

Tau Beta Pi
The Tau Beta Pi Association (commonly Tau Beta Pi) is the oldest engineering honor society in the United States and the second oldest collegiate honor society in America.  It honors engineering students who have shown a history of academic achievement as well as a commitment to personal and professional integrity.  Specifically, the association was founded "to mark in a fitting manner those who have conferred honor upon their Alma Mater by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as students in engineering, or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering, and to foster a spirit of liberal culture in engineering colleges.
