Thursday, November 6, 2008 7:00-9:00 p.m., de Saisset Museum, free Nationally recognized author, artist, filmmaker and educator Kip Fulbeck comes to Santa Clara University! Join us for a lively performance by Kip Fulbeck. The performance will be followed by a question and answer session and booksigning. After the talk, all are invited to a special reception at the de Saisset Museum with Fulbeck.
Meditation into Action: Three Perspectives on Art, Social Justice, and Spirituality

6:00 p.m. (doors will open at 5:30 p.m.), free IJoin playwright and director Erik Ehn, painter and printmaker Evri Kwong, and poet Juan Velasco for a lively discussion about the power of art to transform the world at large, and the role that spirituality plays in the process. Senior Associate Dean Paul Fitzgerald, S.J., will moderate the discussion, providing an Ignatian perspective on faith that does justice in the world.
