Flashing Back: 1960s Works in the Permanent Collection of the de Saisset Museum

In conjunction with the Eye on the Sixties exhibition, the de Saisset Museum will present a companion permanent collection exhibition focused on work from the 1960s. This exhibition showcases the de Saisset Museum’s longstanding commitment to collecting and exhibiting the art of this important period.
Flashing Back includes works in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, and printmaking and highlights the work of California artists Joan Brown, Bruce Conner, Robert Fried, David Gilhooly, George Herms, Tom Holland, Oliver Jackson, Fred Martin, Arthur Monroe, Nathan Oliveira, Harry Powers, Mel Ramos, and Fred Spratt.
