Get Ready...

Before you continue check the requirements below.

1.  Browser

You'll need at least Netscape 4.0 or Internet Explorer 4.0 to use Searchpath. You can go to either the Netscape or Microsoft site; they will tell you what version you are currently using. If it is lower than 4.0, you'll need to download a higher (free) version from their site.

2.  Plug-ins

To experience all the effects, you'll need the Shockwave Flash plug-in, a free application that enhances your browser and makes this site interactive. If you can see the animation below:

you already have the plug-in. If you can't see anything, go to the Macromedia Flash Player Download Center and follow their downloading directions. Or, you can click on "Non-Flash Version", whenever you get to a Flash page.

3. JavaScript

You should also make sure you have JavaScript turned on. This is ususally the default with most browsers and should not be a problem.

Doing this tutorial on a computer in Orradre Library will ensure that all of these requirements are met.
