Santa Clara University will hold its first ever one-day online giving challenge on Wednesday, April 23, with a goal of 1,001 people making a donation in 24 hours.
Your gift will empower the School of Education and Counseling Psychology to:
• Increase our scholarship funding to support our students who seek to teach within and provide culturally relevant mental health services to the children and families in the region, with a particular emphasis on serving Latino children and families in the Washington Alma neighborhood.
• Meet the increasing demand for K-12 teachers and educational leaders, locally, nationally, and globally. Especially those trained in areas of Bilingual Education, English for Second Language Learners, and Catholic School Education.
• Meet the demand for mental health professionals, locally, nationally, and globally. Especially those trained in Latino counseling, depression, mental health disorders, marriage and family, job stress, addiction, aging, veterans with war trauma, autism and wellness programs.
In order to meet this demand and to support those who are committed to engaging with their communities through social justice and multiculturalism, competence and compassion; your investment is crucial! Thank you in advance for making your All In for SCU gift to the School of Education and Counseling Psychology on April 23 here.
Please join the conversation on social media with #allinforscu and use this hashtag whenever you make a donation!
