Admission Requirements

Application Checklist

To apply to the School of Education and Counseling Psychology, you will need to complete an online application form and submit specific materials directly to the School.

Use this list to make sure you've submitted all the necessary documents and materials for your application to be complete. Feel free to print this page and check off each item as you go. 

**Please note, we no longer require the GRE for admissions.

Step 1: Complete and submit the Online Application Form*

The online application includes the Statement of Purpose (click here for instructions) and $50 application fee.

*Once your online application is submitted, you'll be given access to track the status of your admission documents.


Step 2: Submit required documents directly to ECP**

Resume or CV
Two copies of ALL transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) in official format
Three letters of recommendation (if your recommender prefers, you may use an optional recommendation form)
  • Letters can be emailed to ecpadmissions@scu.edu directly from your reference, or if mailed directly by the applicant, the recommendation must be sealed and signed by the recommender across the flap. Letters must address academic and/or professional qualifications (not just personal character) and may not be from family or friends.
