New! Certificate Program in Advanced Psychotherapy Theory:

The Santa Clara University Center for Professional Development is proud to offer its first Clinical Counseling Psychology Certificate Program. Over the next two years, we will offer a variety of specific Theory & Practice CEU classes for therapists. When you have completed four of these classes, you will be awarded a Certificate in Advanced Psychotherapy Theory.

You may join the program during any term and take four classes in a three year period. The first class available in this current term is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Professor David Feldman. Existential Psychotherapy will be offered in the Winter/Spring term as the second class in the series.

The Center for Professional Development at Santa Clara University is committed to providing high quality professional and personal education opportunities for community professionals and alumni. Our accredited continuing education programs focus on serving the Continuing Education (CE) needs of psychologists, marriage and family therapists, social workers, counselors, nurses, other mental health professionals, and educators.

Our dynamic CEU courses are designed to maximize participant-leader contact in interactive, experiential formats. In our personal on-site classes for professionals, we are committed to providing advanced training with greater depth than is available in online formats. Although we offer CEU’s for all of our classes, our goal is to offer significant professional education experiences that also meet licensure requirements.
