Santa Clara University Center for Professional Development provides quality instruction to the greater community of adult learners in a comfortable setting that promotes learning and interaction. We are committed to bringing the Jesuit version of an ethical, values oriented curriculum to the adult learners of Northern California. We assist our students to obtain cutting edge information and become aware of ethical issues that impact their professional lives.
Who attends our workshops?
CPD workshops are designed for SCU alumni and community professionals. Graduate-level professional preparation is expected for those who register for counseling psychology and education workshops. Enrolling in CPD workshops does not indicate admission to any Santa Clara University degree program.
Approval for Continuing Education
The Santa Clara University Center for Professional Development is approved by the following:
- The American Psychological Association (APA).
- The California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
- The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- The California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC).
