Jeffery P. Baerwald, S.J., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University. Dr. Baerwald, S.J. completed his doctoral work in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University in 1998, with an emphasis in Clinical Neuropsychology from Loyola Chicago Hospital Department of Neurosurgery (1994-1996). Dr. Baerwald, S.J. was the founder and Clinical Director of the Loyola Clinics, in Baltimore, MD from 2002-2005. During this time, he established The Multidisciplinary Assessment Center for the evaluation and treatment of children with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Baerwald, S.J. has researched and published in the area of modal attention functioning and has lectured around the world on issues of child cognitive development, including disorders of attention, impulse, and learning.
