Alternative and Correctional Education

This program is a professional training program for educators working in alternative and correctional programs as teachers, counselors, or administrators. The educational certificate program is taught in conjunction with courses provided through Counseling Psychology.

Program
The certificate requires 12 units of course work, submission of a portfolio, and supervised field work. Students should see Bob Michels, program coordinator, for further information. Course Requirements EDUC 276 or CPSY 243, CPSY 244, 245, and 246.

  • CPSY 244-Correctional Education (3 units)
