Requirements

  • Possesion of valid Early Childhood Education Specialist Level I Credential
  • Completion of an individual induction plan
  • Health class proof of attendance (must include nutrition, the physiological and sociological effects of abuse of alcohol, narcotics and drugs, and the use of tobacco
  • Valid CPR certification (copy of front and back of card, signature required). Must include infant, child, and adult skills
  • Computer Education (satisfactory completion of computer education course work including general and specialized skills in the use of computers in the education settings
  • District verification of a minimum of two years in a full-time education specialist position while holding a Preliminary Level I credential
  • Recommendation of a California college or university with Commission-accredited program
