- Employment in an early education specialist position verified on Commission form CL-777 (available from Credential Office)
- Completion of Commission approved program in Early Childhood Special Education
- Recommendation of a California college or university with Commission-accredited program
Internship Requirements - Certificate of Clearance OR copy of a substitute permit

- District letter indicating beginning date of internship which includes position, school district and country (copy of contract is acceptable)
