| Task 1: Principles of Content-Specific and Developmentally Appropriate Pedagogy Overview - You will demonstrate your knowledge of principles of content-specific pedagogy and developmentally appropriate pedagogy. Currently, there are seven versions of Task 1. They are Multiple Subjects (MS) and Single Subject (SS) – English/Language Arts, SS-Mathematics, SS-Science, and SS-History/Social Science, SS-Phyical Education, and SS_Spanish. You will complete one version. In the future, this task will be available in more content areas.
- Each version has four scenarios. They address developmentally appropriate pedagogy, assessment practices, adaptation of content for English learners, and adaptation of content for students with special needs. You will respond in writing to each of the four scenarios.
- You will submit your completed response.
