Charles Perotti, Ed.D.
Lecturer
Charles P. Perotti, Ed.D. has more than thirty-five years of administrative and teaching experience in the public sector. He served the educational needs of the Milpitas Unified School District as a teacher, principal, assistant and deputy superintendent, and superintendent. He retired from the superintendent’s position in June 2001. He consulted with numerous schools district and county offices throughout California while Director of the Institute for Effective School Leadership and held the position of adjunct lecturer at Hayward State University.
Dr. Perotti holds teaching and administrative life credentials in California. He earned his B.A degree at Santa Clara University, his M.A. degree at San Jose State University, and his Ed.D. degree at California Coast University. Among his awards is that of Administrator of the Year 2000 from the Association of California School Administrators (Region 8).
As a lecturer at the University, Dr. Perotti teaches classes targeted to teachers holding a California Intern Credential and to administrators seeking the Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential (Tier 2). He is also responsible for the coordination of the University’s Intern Teaching Program, Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential (Tier 2), and the Private School Credentialing Program.
He has been a resident of Santa Clara Valley for 50 years and married to Darlene for 38 years. He has one and three grandchildren. He is a avid golfer who “never misses an opportunity to pick up the sticks.”
