Media access control protocols for shared channels: ALOHA and its derivatives, CSMA, CSMA/CD, token bus ring, other protocols. Error detection and recovery. Sliding window techniques. Routing algorithms. Flow control. TCP/IP, Client/Server model. Network analysis techniques. Queuing systems, throughput delay analysis.
