Alice (www.alice.org) is a 3D animation programming environment developed by the late Randy Pausch, who with Steve Cooper and Wanda Dann wrote the original text on Alice. SCU's 2009 Alice Summer Program includes multiple sessions:

  1. A two-day reflection meeting led by Steve Cooper for returning Bay Area K-12 teachers who taught Alice during the 2008-09 academic year. (read more ...)
  2. A five-day educators' workshop on Alice for high school computer science teachers taught by faculty from the Alice Project at Carnegie Mellon University. (read more ...)
  3. A five-day Alice computer day camp for local high school students. (read more ...)
 

Electronic Arts All program participants will visit Electronic Arts, which has provided characters and animations for Alice from "The SimsTM" - the best selling PC video game of all time.
