Session 1: July 13-17, 2009 Session 2: July 20-24, 2009 Endorsed by the Computer Science Teachers Association Santa Clara University, in conjunction with faculty from the Alice Project (www.alice.org) at Carnegie Mellon University, will be offering two one-week Professional Development Workshops on programming in Alice for high school computer science teachers. The workshop includes a field trip to Electronic Arts, whose SimsTM characters and animations have been incorporated into Alice. Food and housing is provided at no cost and each participant who completes the workshop will earn 28.5 hours (2.85 units) of CEU credit. Space is limited and registrations will be first come, first served. To apply, simply download and print either the MS/Word or PDF version of the application form, fill it out and mail it to the address shown at right and listed on the bottom of the second page of the form. If you prefer, you may also submit the completed form via FAX or email. You will be contacted upon receipt of your application to let you know whether or not space was still available.
