Applied Materials is searching for an Intern to:
1) Assist to compile monthly Web metric reports and prepare for distribution to content owners.
2) Assist in testing and QA documentation for site enhancements to our Intra/Internet presence(s)
3) Assist in maintaining and updating:
- Master TM spreadsheet; marks researched, approved, implemented list
- process documentation and publish to our Intranet Work forum resources page
- Master Company Milestones document; review press releases, annual reports, other communications to extrapolate data and recommend for inclusion
- Content updates to our Web sites via workflow applications (Internet TeamSite as well as home grown WYSIWYG Dream Weaver Intranet form)
- Technical glossaries; semiconductor and energy and environmental
- Relevant press release pages; third-party releases
- Principal locations; Applied global addresses
4) Assist in graphic icon creation/editing of images for Web site(s) and/or supporting executive communications/presentations
Requirements:
- Cognitive science with emphasis on computers, graphics and/or interactive design
- Html experience; Flash a plus
- Photoshop, Word and Dream weaver
- Interwoven TeamSite a plus
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Good organizational skills and project/time management
- Accountable, dependable, responsible
- Good team collaboration; willing to take on projects outside basis skill set
