Dublin, is the world’s most popular “real-time bidding” advertising platform. What is real-time bidding? It means we help companies intelligently bid on advertising spaces billions of times a day in fractions of seconds. We manage a global infrastructure that handles millions of requests, crunches big data on the spot and provides an easy-to-use self-service platform to over 10,000 happy advertisers.

Recently named by Inc. Magazine as the fastest growing company in the Bay Area and #7 in the nation, as well as 'The best place to work' by SF Business Times, AdRoll has over 200 employees and is increasing revenue at 400% per year. We strongly believe in team chemistry and have a lot of fun building a world-class company. If you are passionate about growth and innovation, then come revolutionize the advertising technology space with us.

Not only do we work with many great brands you've heard of (American Apparel, Tom's Shoes, Microsoft, Tivo, Hipmunk), but we're also backed by some of the savviest investors in the space, including Merus Capital, Accel Partners and Peter Thiel.

Team up with our colorful, tight-knit engineering squad that includes the president of Python Italy, a TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon winner and the youngest-ever engineer at Microsoft (our CEO).

Come roll with us.

For this key position, you must write solid code, understand complex systems, competently evaluate scalability trade-offs (eg, disk vs cpu vs memory), and quickly troubleshoot issues. You learn fast and are excited to dig into the latest technologies. Our stack includes Python, Erlang, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, HBase, Hadoop, Redis and our own open-sourced solutions. More than anything, you do your best work when you have lots of freedom and can take ownership of your projects from concept to finish.

  • Has a genuine interest in Open Source and has personal projects
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Redis, Cassandra, HBase, and/or Hive
