Teaching Assistant Application

The Department of Electrical Engineering offers TA positions yearly and students are hired every Spring for the following academic year.

Specific responsibilities may include supervision of undergraduate laboratory sections, assisting undergraduate students, and correcting papers. Course instructors will give TAs specific assignments in regards to running the lab sections. Please note that TAs are required to attend a mandatory TA training session at the beginning of the academic year.

To be considered as a TA you must have full-time enrollment as an Engineering student at SCU.  Also, you must show proof of your eligibility to work in the United States at Santa Clara University for the entire term of your TA agreement.

Please note the Deadline for the 2014-2015 Academic year is May 25, 2014. All Applications received after that time cannot be reviewed. Applications for the 2015-2016 Academic year will be accepted as early as February 2015.
