The Engineering Graduate Program is widely known for the effectiveness of combining the rigor of conceptual foundations with the practicalities of the real world applications.  From our location in Santa Clara to around the San Francisco Bay Area, the impact of Santa Clara University on educating the technological leaders of today is felt in the way people live, work, and think in Silicon Valley.

We are located in the city of Santa Clara, adjacent to San Jose, in the heart of Silicon Valley in Northern California.  High tech companies, like Google, eBay, Yahoo, IBM, and Apple, are all less than 30 minutes drive from our campus.  Because of our strategic location in Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area, our programs are uniquely responsive to the changing nature of technology. 

More engineers are hired in Silicon Valley than any other one location in the U.S.  Naturally, our students have superior opportunities to be engaged in internships, co-ops, employment, and research opportunities in the adjacent high-tech companies.
