Anthony J. Turiello is the founder and President/CEO of Rescue Air Systems, Inc., the industry leader in firefighter air systems (FFAS). Since 1989, Turiello and RescueAir have pioneered and perfected the firefighter air system and in the process created the firefighter air system industry. The FFAS industry is a very specialized segment of the mechanical piping, plumbing and fire protection industry. As the first company to specialize in these systems, RescueAir accumulated the experience and technological know-how to qualify for patents both in the U.S. and internationally. The overwhelming number of FFAS currently installed in buildings across the country use RescueAir technology.
What we’re looking for is someone with (or near) a mechanical engineering degree (having already obtained his/her engineering stamp not necessary) to learn our firefighter air system requirements and then function as a project engineer to oversee the design, fabrication and installation of our firefighter air systems. It would be a foundational step to becoming a project manager. Eventually we’d like this person to interface with our clients, attend meetings, visit job sites, etc. If this person is familiar with AutoCAD, that would be a super plus; if s/he is interested in learning it we would be happy to send the person for training in CAD.
We’re not replacing anyone in particular so we don’t have a specific job description per se, but I hope this is enough information to start a conversation. Please let me know if not and I’ll try to come up with something more substantive.
Anyone interested is welcome to peruse our website www.rescueair.com to get a feel for what we do and to see if it resonates with him or her.
