| 2006-2007 Officers Alex Austin, Chairman Alex Austin is president of the Santa Clara University student chapter of IEEE. He is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the club. Last year, Alex served as the treasurer, where he was responsible for budgeting and overall money management. Two years ago, Alex served as an Activities Coordinator where he hosted EE Times biweekly, bringing the electrical engineering department together for food and games. He hopes to continue this activity for the next year. Alex is currently employed by NASA Ames Research Center for Nanotechnology as an intern research scientist as well as an intern for the SCU Center for Nanostructures
Phelps Williams is Vice Chair of the Santa Clara University chapter of IEEE. Phelps' responsibilities include managing the chapter and planning events.
![]() Curtis Wong is the treasurer of the student run SCU Chapter of IEEE. He will be responsible for the management and use of the IEEE bank account and funds. He will direct the spending and budget for various club projects such as Micromouse, guest speakers and student nourishment. Last year, Curtis served as an EE times coordinator where he hosted EE Times biweekly, bringing the electrical engineering department together for food and game. Matt Lanham, Student Activities Director Matt Lanham is the student activities director of the IEEE chapter at Santa Clara University. He is responsible for organizing student events and activities in the club. Zefram Marks, Micromouse Director Zefram Marks is a Junior Electrical Engineer heading up the Micromouse squad for this coming year. He intends to introduce those who join to a wide range of engineering learning experiences outside of the classroom. Covering basic circuit design, structural considerations and writing the software to link it all together, he will be taking theory and bringing it together with practical experience. Shoba Krishnan, Branch Counselor Shoba Krishan is the counselor to the Santa Clara University IEEE chapter. She oversees all the officers and sets goals for the organization as a whole. She is currently an Assitant Professor of Engineering with a teaching emphasis in analog and mixed signal IC design and testing. Shoba holds Ph.D and MS from Michigan State University. |
