SCU ePortfolio provides:

• A way to encourage students to reflect on their learning, and in doing so deepen their understanding of the subject area and themselves as learners
• A place where students can integrate ideas and experiences within or across courses, academic programs and co-curricular programs
• A place for documenting student learning within a course, a major, or program
• A means to help students bridge their SCU college and life experiences to their professional or career aspirations
• A way to reveal learners’ growth, progress, and continuity over time
• A place where students can demonstrate a more personalized record of achievement and showcase their full range of abilities through a variety of multi-media artifacts, like graphics, presentations, or projects.
• An opportunity to foster connections as students share their work with others: faculty, advisors, mentors, potential employers, as well as family and friends.

SCU Core Pathway Requirement

• All SCU undergraduates, beginning with the Freshman class entering in 2011-12, will use SCU ePortfolio for their Core Pathway requirement.
