Law Briefs School of Law gains membership in prestigious honor society The latest honor to be bestowed upon SCU’s law school is admission into Order of the Coif, a prestigious national legal society open only to the top law schools in the United States. Entering class breaks record The entering class of 2004 was selected from the largest pool of applicants in the history of the School of Law. Alumni receptions for Dean Donald Polden Since he began serving the School of Law as dean in July 2003, Donald Polden has traveled around the country to meet alumni and talk with them about his vision for the school. Law students help exonerate prisoner John Stoll spent nearly 20 years in prison, but he gained his freedom on his 61st birthday thanks to attorneys and SCU students with the Northern California Innocence Project at Santa Clara University School of Law and the California Innocence Project at California Western School of Law.
