Law Briefs: Faculty/Staff UpdateStaff updateAlexandria Bullara is the new assistant dean for Law Career Services. She is a graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law and practiced law in Houston before moving to the area. She has served as assistant director of Law Career Services since 1999. While in law school, she served as legal editor for the Bureau of National Affairs, and attended the Université de Paris X to study European Union law. She earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Alaska. Andrew Gurthet is the new assistant dean for Law Technology and Academic Computing. Andrew earned his J.D. at the University of Wisconsin and his master’s degree in library and information science from San Jose State University. He has served as director of law technology and academic computing at Santa Clara. Stacey Rishel is the new director of Law Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. She has served as the assistant director for annual and special gifts for the SCU Development Office and the manager of alumni relations and annual giving at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Courtney Hamilton joined the law school staff in August as a major gifts officer. Courtney has worked in sales and marketing for Beyond.com, Chipshot.com, and Sankyo Pharma. She will raise funds for the social justice and public interest programs, including the Northern California Innocence Project and the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center. Courtney earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Linda Melchiori Eisenberg joined the law school staff in July as a major gifts officer. She has several years of experience in fundraising and public affairs in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, including work for the San Jose Cathedral Foundation, where she served as executive director for three years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from SCU. Bryan Hinkle is the new assistant director for Law Career Services. He earned a juris doctor from SCU, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has served as an account representative with the Access Group, and a financial aid counselor in the SCU School of Law admissions office. Joan Schuller, the new special projects manager, has more than ten years experience as an educational and corporate events manager with Paramount’s Great America. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. Sherry Dahl-Siegrist joined the law school in June as an administrative assistant to the assistant dean for law school development and the Law Alumni Board. Sherry has worked as an executive administrative assistant and project coordinator with various Silicon Valley high-tech firms. |
