| Superintendent, Catholic Schools in the Diocese of San Jose Kathy Almazol is the Superintendent of the elementary and secondary schools in the Diocese of San Jose. She has been an administrator in the elementary schools for the past twenty years. Currently there are 16,400 students in the Catholic school system. Kathy has been a leader in developing School Advisory Councils in the school system. She continues to advise principals and parent groups on the importance of governance in the schools.
