C.S. Park

Most recently, C. S. Park was Chairman and CEO of Maxtor Corporation (“Maxtor”) until it was acquired by Seagate Technology (“Seagate”) in May 2006.  He now serves as a member of Seagate’s Board of Directors.   He had been serving as Maxtor’s Chairman of the Board since 1998.

Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of Hynix Semiconductor (“Hynix”) based in Korea. After leaving Hynix in 2002, he served as Managing Director and Investment Partner at H & Q Asia Pacific, a private equity investment firm, until 2004.

In addition to serving on Seagate’s board, C. S. Park is currently a director of a few public boards including CSC,  Smart Modular Technologies, Inc., Brooks Automation, Inc., and  Ballard Power Systems Inc.

He is currently serving for non-profit boards including American Leadership Forum and Silicon Valley Community Foundation.  He also serves for Advisory Board of International Security Studies at Yale University.
