At the CenterFinancial DisclosureFriday, Sep. 24, 2010Ethics Center Senior Fellow in Government Ethics Judy Nadler was one of a group of experts contacted by Newsday to comment on financial disclosure requirements for public officials. "In an abundance of caution and to ensure the public's trust, absolute transparency is the best," Nadler told the paper. Kelly Williams,of NYU's Brennan Center for Justice, added, "The trend is toward moe extensive and more meaningful financial disclosure across every level of government across the county. Public officials had just better get used to it."
