Ethics at Noon Series


The Iraq War, wrongful convictions, and the right to wear or not to wear head scarves are among the topics for the 2007-08 Ethics at Noon series. These lunch-hour programs provide a forum for SCU faculty members and other experts to explore ethical issues in many fields. All programs are free and open to the public.

Professor Jerry Burger of the SCU Psychology deparment will give a lecture on "Replicating Milgram: Why Otherwise Good People Sometimes Do Bad Things."

 

Professor Burger is a professor of psychology at Santa Clara University. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Missouri.
