In preparation for SCU's Homelessness Awareness Week Jan. 28-Feb. 2, the Center's Big Q project offers a case study, inviting students to reflect on how they should respond to panhandlers near campus.

Character Education and the New Common Core Standards

The Center offers a workshop March 6 on implementing the new Common Core State Standards that California and other states have adopted. The focus will be on using the Center's Character-Based Literacy Program in schools serving at-risk students.
