After 10 years as director of social services at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose and another five in the social work department, Alice Doyle will return to the hospital as coordinator of the Ethics Center's Pre-Professional Program for Undergraduates there. Her role as assistant director of health care ethics also will include working with care givers in the hospital to identify other ethics needs at O'Connor. She has served on the hospital's Bioethics Committee and the Steering Committee for the Applied Ethics Center, a joint project of O'Connor and the Markkula Ethics Center.
