Businesspeople who want to learn more about creating a culture of ethics and compliance in their organizations will gather May 28 at Santa Clara University for a one-day forum addressing current ethics and legal issues for corporations and other organizations. The forum features panel sessions on board oversight of ethics and compliance programs, international anti-corruption and the FCPA, roles and responsibilities of corporate gatekeepers, deferred prosecution agreements and federal monitors.

Speakers include:

  1. Bart Schwartz, former U.S. Department of Justice prosecutor
  2. Bob Finocchio, director, Altera, Sun Microsystems, and Echelon; former CEO, Informix
  3. Leslie Caldwell, partner, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; former director, U.S. Department of Justice's Enron Task Force
  4. Bob Mattson, partner, Morrison & Foerster, co-chair, Public Companies and Securities Group, specializing in corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.

The day's registration fee is $100, which includes parking, a continental breakfast and lunch. California CLE credits will be offered.
