Partnership Members Named Best Corporate CitizensFour members of the Centers Business and Organizational Ethics Partnership have been named among the top 20 Best Corporate Citizens of 2007 by CRO magazine. Advanced Micro Devices, Agilent Technologies, Applied Materials, and Cisco all occupied top slots. Developed originally by Business Ethics magazine, the list takes a systematic approach to assessing the social and environmental characteristics of a good corporate citizen, CRO explains. KLD Research & Analytics, an independent investment research firm, collects data and compiles scores for approximately 1,100 publicly held U.S. companies in the Russell 1000, S&P 500 and Domini 400 indices. Companies are judged in eight categories: community, corporate governance, diversity, employee relations, environment, human rights, product, and total return on investment (averaged over three years).
