The Third Biennial Global Conference on Business Ethics

The Markkula Center for Applied Ethics and Cisco Systems are sponsoring
the third biennial international Santa Clara University Global Conference
on Business Ethics in February 2005. The conference is designed to bring
together business executives and business ethics teachers and researchers
to address several of the major ethical issues facing business organizations.
Presentations by top scholars and practitioners will address:
- The Ethical OrganizationStructural and Leadership Issues
- Aligning Corporate Purpose, Responsibility, and Philanthropy
- Corporate GovernanceState of the Art Responsibilities vs. Authority
An invitation has also been extended to "newer" faculty (within
7 years of earning terminal degree) and doctoral candidates for papers.
We will provide lodging and meals for faculty attendees. Questions concerning
