Show Title: An Ethical Response to Hate

Noel Fonseca - Noel is a senior Business Major and a member of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance at Santa Clara University.
Joshua Crosson - Josh is a sophomore Religious Studies Major. He is the Chairperson of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance and the contact person for GASPED (Gay and Straight People for the Education of Diversity).

Description: This show focused on recent incidences of Hate at Santa Clara University. On Tuesday, November 25th 2003, 5 Gay students were sent a hate email titled GALA = Parasite of the World. The email targeted members of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance (GALA), but also included sexist, racist and anti-Semitic language. Following this email, it was discovered that books written by Black, Jewish and Queer authors were defaced in the SCU Library.
In response to these and other incidences that have occurred at Santa Clara University throughout the past few years, I invited two men who received the hate email to come on the show and discuss their experiences and offer strategies to fight hate and discrimination.
