Project on Law and EthicsFinding ways of effectively integrating ethics into law school curricula is the aim of a project recently funded by the Center. Professor Richard Rykoff of the Santa Clara University School of Law will be directing the project. The project will entail consultations with legal practitioners and with leading experts in the teaching of legal ethics, and a survey of the approaches currently being used in law schools to teach legal ethics. The goal of the project is to develop a plan and resources for incorporating an ethical component into every core course offered in law school programs. The results of the project will be made available to other schools interested in integrating ethics into their curricula. |
