Ethics Roundtable for Executives Opens Membership To Expand Audience

Charles Schwab, E. Floyd Kvamme, George Schultz, and Leon Panetta will be the speakers for the 1998-99 Ethics Roundtable for Executives. Schwab, chairman of Charles Schwab Corp., will kick off the program Dec. 1, with Dennis Moberg, Presidential Professor of Ethics and the Common Good at Santa Clara University.

This presentation marks a new direction for the roundtable, which is opening attendance to an expanded audience. Roundtables now invite the participation of all businesspeople who are interested in discussing ethical dilemmas that confront them in the workplace. Roundtables include a case study presentation followed by discussion among participants, who include CEOs, senior executives, directors, and managers.

Next in the series will be a Feb.2, 1999, presentation by Kvamme, partner in the venture capital firm Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, who will be joined by Manuel Velasquez, Dirksen Professor of Business Ethics at SCU. All program are scheduled for 7:15Æ9:15 a.m. in the Benson Center Williman Room on the University campus.
