- Ranked No. 44 nationally on the 2011-12 Best Values in Private Colleges list.
Ranked No. 4 in California for Graduate Salary Potential
- The value of a Santa Clara University education for graduate earning potential is among the best in California, according to Payscale, an online site that collects salary data. SCU was ranked No. 4 on list of 64 California schools for starting and midcareer media salary in the 2011 College Salary Report.
President's Honor Roll
- SCU was named to the 2010 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for community service programs and student involvement.
Award For Green Power Leadership
- In Nov. 2011, the University received a 2011 Green Power Leadership Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Green Power Challenge
- For the third straight year, SCU used the most green power in the West Coast Conference, making it the 2010-11 Individual Conference Champion in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s College and University Green Power Challenge.
Comprehensive Sustainability Rating
- SCU received a silver rating in the STARS program, the nation’s first comprehensive sustainability rating system for colleges and universities. The rating was determined by University initiatives in three key areas: education and research; operations; and planning, administration, and engagement.

- The undergraduate business program at Santa Clara University is ranked #39 in the nation, according to “The Best Undergraduate B-schools.”
- The rankings singled out the school’s focus on business ethics as well as the innovation-rich Silicon Valley location.
- Santa Clara University received an “A” in its rating of facilities this year, a significant jump from the “C” grade it received in 2007, the first year it participated in the rankings.

- Santa Clara University remains one of the country's best values in private universities, according to Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine (December 2009).
- In its annual report, the magazine named Santa Clara University 43rd in best value among private universities nationwide.
- The annual survey ranks the top 50 private universities and the top 50 liberal arts colleges by reviewing more than 600 private institutions and measuring academic quality and affordability.
- The rankings are based on such factors as admission rates, freshman retention rates, and graduation rates, as well as tuition costs, financial aid, and the average debt a student accumulates before graduation.
Princeton Review
- Santa Clara University is named one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education in The Best 371 Colleges, Princeton Review’s annual survey, and once again scored 96 out of 100 for sustainability efforts.

Santa Clara’s executive MBA program was up four spots, from No. 19 last year.
