Santa Clara Magazine received 2007 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence silver medal in the Best Articles of the Year category for “The School of Hope.” The magazine also received a 2006 District VII gold medal award of excellence for outstanding communications in magazine writing.

The Office of Development received a 2007 CASE Wealth Engine Award for overall performance in Educational Fundraising.

The Office of Marketing and Communications earned four silver awards from CASE District VII in December 2007, placing the University in the top tier of schools recognized. The awards of excellence marked outstanding achievement in alumni and donor publications, student recruitment, and internal communications: Honors went to Santa Clara Magazine; the 2005-06 President's Report; SCU's undergraduate recruitment video; and fyi, the online newsletter for faculty and staff.
