Instructional Labs

The computer labs listed below are available to both faculty and students. All labs are networked, and can be used for teaching (they have data projectors and printers). If you need to have any special software loaded, call x 4520 to make arrangements.

The Instructional Technology Resource Specialists, David Armstrong and Michael Ballen, have offices in Varsi Hall (first floor), and will be staffing the Varsi Labs during the quarter on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 1:00 - 4:30


Varsi Media Lab

Located at the south end (facing the Observatory) of Varsi Hall. Lab Hours follow the undergraduate calendar: Sundays 1:00pm - 10:00pm; Mon - Thurs 9:00am - 10:00pm; Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (special hours for holidays and finals). If the Lab is closed, access is always available Monday-Friday from 8am - 5pm through the Media Services office. Call x 4520 to schedule this lab.

Varsi Multimedia Lab

The Varsi Multimedia Lab, located adjacent to the Varsi Media Lab, is equipped so that faculty and students can create interactive multimedia projects. Peripherals include an LCD projector, color scanner, networked laser printer, video capture/editing, CD-ROM press, digital Mpeg camera, and removable storage options (Zip drives). Same hours as above (except when classes in session). Call x 4520 to schedule this lab.

Tamaki Classroom
