Northern California

It's no exaggeration to say some of the most beautiful areas in the world are within reach of the University. Many of Northern California's most exciting and scenic areas are just a short drive from SCU.

The Pacific Ocean and the beaches of Santa Cruz are 45 minutes away. About 40 miles north of SCU lies the magnificent city of San Francisco. In an hour-and-a-half you could be whale watching in Monterey. Take weekend trips to go hiking in Yosemite or skiing at Lake Tahoe. You have to see the area's wild and diverse beauty to believe it.
