LectureJoin the School of Engineering and the Center for Science, Technology, and Society to learn about Frugal Innovation at Santa Clara University. The event kicks off with a panel exploring SCU's Frugal Innovation program and the practical social justice work being done by engineering faculty and students and social entrepreneurs from the Center's Global Social Benefit Incubator. Then, as part of the Engineering Laboratories Open House, visit the newly designed Frugal Innovation Lab to learn more about the fundamentals of Frugal Innovation and see project demonstrations by faculty and students. Also open to the public will be Bioengineering's newly remodeled facilities, the Center for Nanostructures, and the new Senior Design and Maker Labs.
