Say hello to Lindsey Kouvaris, the new curator of exhibits and collections at the de Saisset Museum. She’s previously worked for the San Jose Museum of Art, McKinney Avenue Contemporary, and more recently with the Montalvo Arts Center. She’s also a 2002 alumna.

Welcome, Jeanette Miller. She has joined the women’s and gender studies department as a senior administrative assistant, after working at Stanford University for four years.

A round of applause goes out to Nick Mirkovich, the new associate media relations director for Athletics and Recreation. His experience in the media relations field spans seven years working at the University of San Diego, NFL Europe’s Amsterdam Admirals, NFL’s New England Patriots, Arena Football League’s Portland Forest Dragons, and at College Sports Television.

Stop by and say hi to Jeri Waxman, who joins the Center for Performing Arts to handle marketing relations. She is a former director of marketing at Opera San Jose and a freelance writer for the San Jose Business Journal.

Deborah Whiteman is the new associate librarian and head for archives and special collections department. She joins us from UCLA libraries.

2008 SCU alumna Stephanie Woitte is back on campus as the new event planning manager for University Programs and University Event Planning.

Shelly Wolf is the administrative associate in the electrical engineering department. She’s joining us from Seattle where she worked at the University of Washington for over six years.

The President’s Office welcomes Anne McMahon as Assistant to the President for Communications. Anne will have primary responsibility for many of the communications emanating from the President’s Office -- assisting with presidential speeches and talking points, drafting correspondence, and maintaining the President’s Office web site. Anne has served as University Archivist since 1996 and is currently enrolled in the Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries. Her previous degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Engineering from Drexel University, and a Master of Arts in American History from George Mason University
