Support the arts at Santa Clara

The de Saisset Museum, established in 1955, provides a quality arts experience on the Santa Clara campus. De Saisset is accredited by the American Association of Museums and open to the public free of charge.

Among the museum's 10,000-object permanent collection are 100 works by 1880s alumnus and prominent California painter Ernest DeSaisset as well as an extensive assortment of early California mission-era artifacts.

The museum hosts three to five traveling exhibits annually, offers extensive educational programs for K-12 students, and permits access to its collections for student and faculty research.

Our curratorial staff actively seeks sponsors for traveling exhibitions as well as student programs such as the “Acquisitions for Diversity” initiative.
