For the past 40 years, the Golden Circle Theatre Party has benefited the students at Santa Clara University through the Golden Circle Endowed Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for undergraduate students based upon financial need and academic merit.

The first Golden Circle was held in 1967 at Montgomery Theatre with nearly 700 people attending that event. Since that time, the Board of Fellows has raised nearly $9.6 million. During the 2005-2006 academic year, 13 students received scholarships provided by Golden Circle supporters totaling more than $100,000.

The spirit of the Golden Circle Theatre Party is embodied by the Fellows and the students who benefit from its scholarships. The following quotes from some scholarship recipients show the impact of the Golden Circle Endowed Scholarship Fund:
